For Hewitt, it is his twelfth failure against Federer from 2004 Australian Open. Is it Hewitt's fate? As long as Federer exists, he can never beat him. We don't know when Hewitt will retire. But will he retire with his 12 consecutive failures against Federer? I guess that Hewitt hasn't got opportunities to take revenge. Do you think so?

I don't think it is fate as much as it is timing.
In their early matches, Hewitt was the usual winner. Then as Federer's game improved and Hewitt's game dipped a little, Federer became the dominant of the two.

At this stage in Hewitt's career, I don't think he will ever beat Federer again or win another Grand Slam.
But he can still make a lot of money on tour if he decides to keep playing. It will be a tough decision for him.

Yes, Canadaguy. In their early matches, Hewitt won more than Federer. According to ATP record, Hewitt once won 7 of 9 matches when he played against Federer. After 2004 Australian Open, everything has changed. Just look at the picture. Hewitt was sad and disappointed. By the way, Federer performed excellent in that game. He made 10 or 11 ACEs and got seized all break points and eventually he won.

Now Federer enteres the semi-finals without losing one set. Well done! It seems that he has no opponent on grass. In the semi-final, he will play against Safin. Federer needs to play a hard game with Safin because Safin was in good condition. On the other hand, Nadal also beat Murray though he got injured in the previous game. Wait, it is very possible that Federer will meet Nadal in the final. Another war between World No.1 and No.2 will start again? Canadaguy, do you think that Federer will beat Nadal if they entered the final?
