Considering the pedestal toilet is not very popular in China, with ladies still preferring to squat on the toilet seat rather than sit down, I'm surprised that diners would want to spend their meal times sitting on toilet seats that do become a little uncomfortable after more than ten minutes or so and the thought of eating out of something that resembles a toilet is gross.
But people are looking for different experiences so in the absence of anything better this may just be filling the void. Yuk............
