guest5728	Several months ago, I read an interesting thread on this forum, which is "what do you think of marrying a man/woman who is younger than you?". Some people there said that they wouldn't marry a man or woman who is too older than them because they are afraid that age gap might cause many problems in their marriage. Today, I read another article that claimed "Age gap has no risk to marriages". Here I want to tell those who afraid of the age gap: "Don't worry too much. Just marry him or her as long as you love him/her." As the article claims, there is no evidence that age difference affects the success of marriage. It also says that the couple with a big age difference are no more likely to divorce. But it also offers another possibility, that is, some couple in unhappy marriage just wait for the problems to go away or they just maintain their marriage for some reasons, for example, their young chidlren. Also, those couple with age gap face another menace because the older spouse are more likely to die early than them. "a decrease in divorces due to more deaths might hide an increased risk of divorce due to the age difference.” the article said.
