![]() | The World Egg Throwing Championship was held in Lincolnshire on June 29, 2008. The event was initially lauched in 2006,which consisted of just two games, Egg Throwing and Static Relay. Now, the championship has been expanded to cover new games of Target Throwing, Russian Egg Roulette and now Egg Trebuchet. ![]() |

![]() | "Russian Egg Roulette, introduced at the 2007 World Games, quickly became a favourite spectator sport, involves two people and a choice of 6 eggs of which 5 are hard-boiled and 1 raw. Each contestant takes it in turn to choose an egg and then smashes it onto their own forehead. The loser is the one that finds the raw egg."![]() |
