guest21650	Arriving in 乌鲁木齐 (Urumqi) 22-Jul if my travel agency in Beijing succeeds in booking me this train ticket leaving Beijing on 20-Jul. Planning to spend just 1 night in Urumqi then go to 喀什 (Kashgar) by train, then spend 4 nights there 24-28 Jul, and maybe go to Karakol lake from there during those days. This part is relatively easy to book as long as my travel agents succeed. What is still unsure is the below: Then by train to 吐鲁番 (Turpan) then to 哈密 (Hami) hopefully just in time (there is a Turpan-Hami train 2am-8am or so) to catch the total solar eclipse on 1-Aug afternoon, although I haven't yet found a good way from Hami to Yiwu, Weizixia, Balikun, or other good viewing sites. After that, to 西安 (Xi an) for whatever time I have left, then take the overnight train 5-Aug arriving in Beijing 6-Aug, fly home 6-Aug evening. If anyone is interested in joining up on any part of this let me know! Especially in Turpan and Hami. I'm male, college student, can speak some Chinese, enough to get around but not fluent.
