Beijing airports to beef up security check from July 20

From July 20, passengers will have to go through double security checks before boarding on the planes at t major airports in Beijing, the C vil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) announced yesterday.

CAAC said it was for the sake of Olympic security. All the people who enter the airports will have to undergo a security check. Passengers will have to go through double screening before getting on the plane. Passengers will have to be screened again after finishing the boarding procedures.

CAAC advise passengers to arrive at the airports ahead of the schedule to go through double screening.

I read that article as well, and the thing that scared me the most was...

...how long after the Olympics will these double security checks last? Is this permanent? Ahh!
