DOINKER Points: Join Date: Jul 10, 2008 Status: offline	Went to Xian the past two days - very good esp the Stone Tablets place near the South Gate and the smaller warriors exhibition near airport. Had a driver/guide called Jack - slow and not a good driver - bit of a rip off. No idea of service really. Just wanted the money! NOT a guide at all - told us nothing in fact at warrior sites just do the recorded automatic guide service or read the signs yourself. The guides guide best when you are near a shop! Hotel Bell Tower great position and not so expensive. Airport security a bit heavy handed and the girl sort of frisked me a little too close to crutch level for comfort and when I objected I could see 'prison in her eyes' for me.
