Armed police keeping guard at major passes to Beijing

The passengers heading to Beijing by bus and water must use their real ID to buy tickets during the games, accounced the Ministry of Transport and Communication of China yesterday. For the sake of a safe Olympic Games, Beijing is beefing up the security check. Armed police are being demployed to keep guard at the major passes to Beijing. On the major roads to Beijing, more security checkpoints will set up. All the vehicles heading towards Beijing will have to be undergone tight security screening.

It makes sense that China is taking steps to ensure that security is tightened for the olympics, if something were to go wrong it would look bad on China, I hope everything goes well and China shows the world it can handle these events.
