 | In his recent book, Bill Emmott, former editor of the Economist, said that Canada should be kicked out of Group of Eight. Then Asian's two emerging powers---China and India can join in G8. Why did he say that China and India should be included in G8? According to the World Bank, China has become the world's fourth biggest econony in term of dollar. At this year's summit, global warming has been the top agenda. China has surpassed America to be the biggest carbon emitter in the world. India is also climbing the rankings. No wonder China, India, Indonesia and Brazil and other nations have been invited to discuss global warming issue. What do you think of Bill Emmott's suggestion? Should China join G8? By the way, G8 has been condemned by people. Right now, the world is facing food crisis, those eight leaders just eat caviar and sea urchin to talk about how to deal with food crisis and offer their help ot those poor nations. | Keep Canada in and just add China and India and call it G10. Of course, the elite of the elite would not want their global philosophies to be diluted too much, would they? |

I have read extensible about this matter and so; I add, how hypocritical people are about it. What was wrong with it? Any one can speak up and say what they needed to eat. Therefore, the world around can be happy. About been a member of the G-8, the only way any other country is to be added, it is if the 8 actual members agree up on. No country; ones a member, can be kick out of the G8 just because of a crazy desire, Canada have its own place in the G-8 safe. In doubt, Read about the addition of Russia, the last to be added, It was Bill Clinton’s legacy. The Russian addition was pushed in to the other six by Clinton. |

| Why should China join G8? Can't you see that G8 are all developed nations? As Katrina has said, G8 wants China and India to join in just because they have emitted more carbon. Personally, I think that it is unfair. As for carbon emission, America should take its part of responsibility. Why did Bush refuse to sign Kyoto Protocol? Becaus Bush never thought that the global warming problem existed. This is the news said. |
