There's Taste of India close to the Garden Hotel (opposite side of the road and about 200m to the west). Then there is another Indian restaurant not far away, but really difficult to explain where (off of the TaoJin road by the Friendship store, and to the east). The best thing to do is go to a starbucks and look in one of the expat magazines which are usually hanging around (such as That's PRD). They have full restaurant listings under nation categories. They'll be at least 5 or 6 indian ones in there.
