It was the second US military aircraft crashed near Guam this year. Earlier in February this year, a B-2 bomber crashed after it took off from Adersen Air Force Base. Fortunately, the 2 airmen survived the crash. What was wrong with the US military aircrafts?

Too bad the military aircraft of today are not as durable but I suppose increased performance is a factor. Also, too bad that Boeing cannot make their border surveillance projects as durable as their aircraft. Hmmmmm............

Six crew members died when the B-52 crashed on takeoff in Guam. Our prayers are for them and their families.
The plane was going to do a flyover as part of a parade celebrating the Islands liberation from Japanese occupation during WW2. # bodies were recovered from the sea. It may be a while before the exact cause of the crash is known.
The last B-52 came off the production line in 1963. There are about 70 still in service and it is considered a good plane.
