guest14125	Hi there, I was planning to visit Harbin next January for the Ice Festival. I've read somewhere that it will open on the 5th and go on for a month. I would like to know a couple of things before going. Has anyone visited it before or is there anyone currently living there to whom I could ask? Thank you Daniel

GUEST14125	Hi Ellyse, I would like to know what could be the best timeframe to visit there. I could be in Harbin between the 6th and 10th of January, pretty much at the beginning of the Festival. I'm a bit concerned that it could be too early and maybe find many sculptures uncompleted... As well I would like to know of collateral events, shows, etc. if there were any.

ELLYSE Points: Join Date: Oct 30, 2005 Status: Offline	No, the sculptures would all already be finished. 6-10/1 would be fine, though please be prepared for high accommodation prices. 2-3 days is probably enough for a visit.
