![]() | On July 22, two bombs exploded on two buses and resulted in 3 people dead and 14 people injured in Kunming. The reason of the explosion is still under research but many people believed that the terrorists did it. Although it happened in Kunming, the explosion has drawn Beijing Olympic Commity's attention. Right now, various kinds of counter-terrorism actions are prepared to insure a secure Olympic. Security has been tightened in subway lines, railway stations, airports, etc. Beijing Capital International Airport is to implement special security checks so as to safeguard air transport safety for the upcoming Olympic Games. from July 20, special security equipment has been installed at the entrances of all three terminal buildings in the airport. All passengers, visitors, and airport employees will have to go through security checks when entering the airport. Anyone found in possession of banned items will be severely punished. |
