What do you think of the speculators?

Mentioning the speculators, those investors must feel angry and say "we hate them". It is they who have drived up the oil prices and have made shares slump. They not only make much profit but also destroy the economy.

I hear that strategy of short selling must be under certain market situations and approved by stock commitee and it's a method of balancing unhealthy market. But in an unregulated market, it's the major threat to create bubble and make up false prosperity-illusion.

in secondary market, JC, you are absolutely correct - ZeroSum Game. But in a healthy secondary market, the flucuations closely reflected the performance of a corp and real face of macroeconomy.
