I am 30 years old male from Singapore plan to travel to Kunming > Lijiang > Dali in mid of August. I am able to speak English and Mandarin.

I don't have any female friends to recommend but, I would be happy to show around the Lijiang area.. I live outside of Lijiang's tourist trap of the old town, in a small village called Baisha... There are many "free" things to do here, so, if you are headed this way PM me and I will give you my contact info....

These 'I want female companion' threads are getting a bit too much. I just hope the moderators can do something about it.
Is it my imagination or have they seemed to increase when we allowed guests to post?

I have often complaine about males looking for female guides. However I have no problem with this request. It is open nd honest. Females are free to choose whether they want to reply.

I object to ppl wanting female guides. One's gender has no bearing on one's ability as a guide and except in special situations should not be a condition of employment. If there are special reasons, such as religious or having children, these should be specifically spelled out. Otherwise the request is objectionable.

The female guide thing is the worst, just about all of us except the women that reply know what they are after.
It is a shame the women act so naive, they not only reply but give all their details too.
