Hundreds of Chinese athlestede entered a 66 hecter compound. Liu Qi, president of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games, and Chen Zhili, the head of the Olympic Village, attended the opening ceremony of the Olympic Village. The Olympic Village is located in northwest of Bird’s Nest stadium. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the village from Water cube. The Polish Olympic delegation arrived at the village on Sundday. The Olympic Village for the upcoming games was officially opened Sunday morning. Hundreds of Chinese athlestede entered a 66 hecter compound.
