I'll be staying in Shanghai in November '08, and found this hotel/hostel that looks to be quiet, reasonably priced, and may have some backpackers staying there. it has ping pong table which is also interesting to me. It is:
Le Tour Traveler's Rest, Bldg. 36, 319 Jiaozhou Road, JingAn District, Shanghai.
Is the location a good one? Does anyone know this place? Is there any reason that I should not book it, like a bad location, high noise, or any other reason? Thanks for the answer.

I really don't think much of the location and for cheaper I could get a private room with ensuite in a budget hotel that's only 10 mins walk from Jing'an Temple metro, so it's even more accessible. There's no point being 3 mins from the Jade Buddha Temple -- you're going to visit it a max of one time, anyway!
