Im wondering if anyone has travelled there with Chinese currency and how easy it was to change it
Any help would be greatly appreciated

GUESTMIDDLE_... You can exchange RMB at any local currency exchange houses in the Middle East.

You might be able to change RMB to other currencies in Nepal, but I doubt you'll be able to do so in India or the other countries.

It would be wise not to rely on being able to readily exchange RMB outside China.

Try to change your RMB into Euro/Pounds/US$ or Aussie $

If you change these on the streets, you'll also get a better rate than the banks.

Remember 'Hard" currencies like the US$ are generally well sort after.
Having said that the US $ is a bit weak at the moment.
