D-trains between Beijing and Tianjin suspended from August 1st!

Yesterday, Beijng Railway station announced that 13 D-trains running between Beijing and Tianjin will be suspended from August 1st. Meanwhile, two trains between Beijing and Qingdao, Beijing and Taida will be suspended too. However, the newly built inter-city trains between Beijing and Tianjin will operate on August 1st at Beijing South Railway Station. On August 1st, there will be 60 inter city trains that runs between Beijing and Tianjin. It is said that the new inter city trains will be faster than D-trains. It only takes about 25 minutes from Beijing to Tianjin. The tickets for the inter city trains are more expensive than D-trains. The first class ticket costs 69 RMB and the second class, 58 RMB. Originally, the D train costs 51 RMB (first class) and 42 RMB (second class).

As for the ordinary trains, there will be no changes. The passengers can choose K27、K39、K51、4419、4405、4401 etc to get to Tianjin.

On August 1st, the following D-trains will be suspended:
Beijing to Tianjin: D539、D541、D543、D545、D547、D549、D551、D553
Tianjin to Beijing: D540、D542、D544、D546、D548、D550、D554
Beijing to Qingdao: T195/6

August 2nd:
Beijing to Tianjin: D531、D533、D535、D537、D555
Tianjin to Beijing: D532、D534、D536、D538、D552、D556
Beijing to Taida: 4493/4

The inter-city train from Beijing to Tianjin. It is the same as D-trains. However, the speed is faster than D-trains, 350 kilometers per hour.
