South Korean TV station leaks Olympics Opening Ceremony

South Korean TV station SBS broadcasted some footage of the dress rehearsal of the Beijing Olympics opening ceremony. At a press conference, an Olympics official said Thurday that "We are disappointed they did that, but the fragments cannot give the audience a full picture of the opening ceremony."

The opening ceremony is expected to last about three and a half hour. The renowned Chinese film director Zhang Yimou masterminds the opening ceremong. The opening ceremony has been kept in top secrecy. SBS did leak some footage of the dress rehearsal.

SBS should be fined by International Olympic Committe.

SBS has apologized formally to Beijing and removed related videos on its website. As for the punishement, it is under discussion. KBS also condemns SBS for leaking Beijing Olympic Games Opening Ceremony rehearsal. By the way, a Korean source says that SBS was actually warned by IOC during Athens Olympics.
