According to the news, Xiaokai has been beaten by some other guys several times just because he once rejected a girl who was interested in him. Xiaokai is a 1.8 meters high, white and handsome boy. But he is very shy and introverted. When he went to a technological school, he made friend with Xiao Wang, a extroverted tomboy. Xiao Wang had invited Xiaokai to play basketball several times and gradually fell in love with Xiaokai. Later on, she told Xiaokai that she wanted to be his girlfriend. But Xiaokai refused her. This made Xiao Wang very angry. So she found four boys to beat Xiaokai and threatened him that if he didn't agree to be Xiaowang's boyfriend, they would beat him untill he agreed. After being beaten several times, Xiaokai has had nightmares all these days. Even going out with his mom, he looks around carefully, fearing they will appear and beat him. How said is it! I just heard that girls were threatened by boys who once chased her or were rejected by her. It is the first time that I have heard such news. This reminds me of a Korean movie, My Sassy Girl. I think that girl hasn't known this Chinese saying"强扭的瓜不甜 (Qiang 2 Niu 3 De Gua 1 Bu 4 Tian 2)". There is a similar idiom in English: You can take a horse to the water but you cannot make him drink. That girl should learn this saying first.
