I'm new here and wanted to know if anyone has gone toChina and what did you eat there. I'm a veggie/non-dairy and the food in China looks like it may give me a hard time.

GUEST82143 I am heading to China for the first time, so I'm not the best person to answer. However, I have heard that Buddhist temples are typically the best place to find cheap vegetarian food. Hopefully vegan too. :) Good luck! Personally, I am a vegetarian but have the "when in Rome" attitude about travelling. I was a vegetarian backpacking in Germany for a month without speaking a word of German. I mostly ate ice cream and baked potatoes. Best of luck!
