Xinjiang police beefs up security checks after violent attack

Police intensified security checks after the violent attack on a border patrol station in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. More checkpoints have been set up in the major roads. In Kashgar, police demanded bag checks on passengers passing throught road checkpoints.
In Urumqi, special police used wireless ID check devices in street patrols. Armed traffic police patrol on buses. Security overruns everything in Xinjiang.
