Chen even accused Hu Ge of being "unimaginably shameless" and threatened to sue him for defamation. This time, thousands of netizens stood by Hu Ge. They said that Chen shouldn't have been so narrow-minded. Later on, the dispute ceased quietly. Because of this parody, Hu Ge has been known to almost every netizen. ZOEY Points: Join Date: Nov 29, 2004 Status: Offline	The steamed bun murder is very funny. Hu Be has made some parodies after the steamed bun murder. However, they are not as good as the steamed bun murder (just my view).

Well, Hu Ge was right. I have watched this movie. The tragedy in the Promise was indeed because of a steamed bun. At the end of the movie, Wu Hu told everything to Qingcheng. When they were young, Qingcheng seized a steamed bun from Wuhuan. From then on, Wu Huan didn't believe anyone else including himself. To be honest, I don't know what Chen Kaige wants to tell us in the movie. Maybe, I am not smart enough.

As for The Steamed Bun Murder, it is just entertainment. No one needs to take it seriously.
