Four American cyclists wearing masks at Beijing airport upon arrival have apologized to Beijing Olympic Organizing Committee today. In fact, Beijing Municipal Government has taken a lot of effective measures to combate air-pollution over the past years. Beijing’s commitment to a Green Olympics has been largely fulfilled. Whatever the problems might be, is it polite to wear your masks when the hospitable Chinese hosts welcome you at the airport? Tommorow, the Games will commence. Hopefully, all visitors to Beijing can contribute to the realization of the goal “One World, One Dream”. We are ready! China welcomes you! 1.3 billion Chinese welcome people from every corner of the globe! Wish Beijing Olympic Games a great success!

"Those athletes have regretted their actions and written an appology to BOCOG. They should have realized how their actions will be perceived by Chinese people. Nevertheless, it has passed. Wish such things never happen again. Wish all athletes enjoy the Games.
