![]() | Ivanovic, World No.1 as well as champion of French Open has announced that she can't play at Beijing Olympics due to her injury. What a pity. Ivanovic is the second who quits from the Olympics. In earlier time, Sharapova withdrew due to injury too. For men's singles, Ljubicic also quits. Serbia's another tennis player Jankovic also suffers from knee injury. To Serbia, it really is a big blow. She cried at the news conference. ![]() |

![]() | Boys, don't be sad. At least, Ivan and Maria didn't say they would retire. You still have chance to see them play tennis. |

![]() | Oh no, first Sharapova and now Ivanovic? Tsk, tsk, I feel sorry for the guys who bought tickets just to watched them. Can't blame them though. They are beauties. ;-) |

![]() | SHE, Yea, it's a pity for countless Chinese guys who bought tickets. Sharapova is a eye-catcher in tennis court. I heard that a lot of Chinese guys bought the tennis ticket just for the sake of Sharapova. (You know, tennis is not much popular in China). |

![]() | Chinese female tennis players did a very good job. Zheng Jie and Li Na both have advanced to quarter finals of Women's Singles. But Yan Zi and Pengshuai were eliminated. Zheng Jie is going to fight Safina today. It will be a hard battle for her because Safina has been playing very well in recent days. Li Na might have chance to win because her rival ranks No.47 in the world. As for Women's Doubles, Peng Shuai and Sun Tiantian (defending champion) were beaten by their rivals. Zheng Jie and Yanzi successfully advance to the next round. As for Men's Singles, Federer, Nadal and Djokovic both advance to the next round. Nadal beat Hewitt 6/1 and 6/2 yesterday. Today, Federer is going to fight Berdych again. Four year ago, Berdych kicked Federer out of Athen Olympics. Four years later, they meet again. Hope Federer can take revenge successfully. |
