GUEST31227 It's too bad that Lin Miaoke didn't really sing at all.

GUEST39246 Lin Miaoke, lip-synched during the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympic Games on Friday. An official ordered her to lip-synch 'Ode to the Motherland' because seven-year-old singer Yang Peiyi wasn't deemed cute enough. Claim was that it was 'best' for the country. How sad! Also, firework shots were doctored to make it appear more spectacular. Makes you wonder about the rest. Is Lin Hao truly a hero? Did Li Muzi truly play? The Chinese government miss-leading the world, instead of just their country.

GUESTAARONB11 The singing girl was really a lip sync performance. The actual girl singer was deemed too ugly, per se. The lip sync girl is apparently a national celeb. And, there was a shot of the piano playing young lady mimicking playing the piano while the keys were really struck by Lang Lang.

It's a pity! It would have been a perfect opening ceremony if it there had been no lip-synch. Lip-synch is like a flaw of an emerald.
