War between Russia and Georgia was orchestrated by USA?
Aug 13, 2008 04:08
guest126 Senior Russian officials have blamed the USA for the conflicts between Geogia and Russia. Does it make sense? Was USA really the mastermind behind the South Ossetia Crisis?

So who else are the Russian goings to blame?
Georgia has made noises about joining NATO which has probably got up the Russians noses.
Do you remember when they rolled their tanks into Hungary because that had overthrown the Russians puppet government?
They’ve been holding a gun to the head of eastern European countries since the end of the last war. Enough is enough.

You know, that is the downside of being a superpower. You always get blamed for everything wrong & bad that happens in this world. Damned if you do. Damned if you don't. Nobody likes you. So if China wants to become a superpower in the near future, it should be able to receive the ‘blows’ and not cry foul every time it gets criticized. Like a big brother, China has to be matured because it will be asked for more responsibility yet not expect to be liked. With power comes responsibility. I hope China will be ready sooner rather than later. It will be good for America. It is lonely at the top.

For once I don't think we can blame the US! The US troops are already overstretched and Bush is Yesterday's Man, there is nothing in it politically for him.

The reverse side of the coin is that it is a great time for other countries to stir up issues knowing the US is in a weak position just now. All very convenient for Russia perhaps.

The South Ossetia Crisis has something to do with USA. At least, USA backed Georgia.

GUESTAPO It is not so farfetched but very credible. Americans have always adopted "aggression" as their culture - it is the very foundation of their society. Throughout modern history, Americans have resorted to military violence to forcibly impose their ideals and way of life on others who do not accept them. For example, the Northern States conquered the Southern States during the American Civil War which killed some 500,000 people. Americans will not hesitate to kill civilians to serve their agenda. Their Atomic bombs killed hundreds of thousands of civilian Japanese men, women and children in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. There are many other examples of Americans love for violence. It is in their nature to be aggressive.

The Iraq war-occupation by the US is not favourable to American people so the US President & VIce-President and Republican party set about creating another 'crises situation' and Georgia's attack on the Russians in the south is definitely encouraged by the US which has thousands of American military personnel stationed there.

Guestapo and nobody else has I suppose.?
If you are going to make a list of examples of American aggression you need to include a few more countries.
The “Rape of Nanking” come to mind. Who was that again?

Tsk, tsk, tsk. It looks like our friend Guestapo has woken up on the wrong side of the bed! Bringing up the American Civil War and the use of the Atomic bomb on Hiroshima when discussing the Russian Army invading Georgia! Talk about changing the subject!
Does anyone really think that the U.S. could drag the Russian Army kicking and screaming into a neighboring country?
