I personally don't like the low shoes above. Too bad for me, because they seem to be trendy for the last couple years here in China. I guess that they're OK for school girls or for any women on a relaxing day... But again, in my own view, I would not call them beautiful and still prefer Mrilyn's way ;-)

They should definitely be banned in the workplace. They are totally inconsistent with all the other regulations on health and safety in most western countries.

Apart from the obvious danger to ankles, they can do untold damage to the hips as they completely change the way you walk.

If you feel you must wear them, keep them for special nights out.
