UK is the source of modern soccer and badminton. They invented the sports but they did not show much enthusiasm. No wonder they didn't do well in the two events.

So it is not that they don't do well - they just don't do at all. It has to be said that we will never be able to beat the likes of Lin Dan at Badminton though. That man is unbeatable!

GUEST93972	The london bus is a well known artifact just as wooden shoes or tulips for Holland. The bus is also typical of London city so its choice is a good one. English culture as such is more recognised for good manners than a bus. However London is the capital and the red london bus is a worldwide symbol for the city and relates to England as its capital.
