This year, Russia won no gold medal in shooting events: while the USA shooting team has obtained good record during shooting events and took 2 silver and two bronze. It was said that American medalists were soldiers and received special training in mility forces. Russia won five gold medals, two silver and one broze in shooting events in Barcelona Olympic Games in 1992. Since then, Russia’s shooting has been declining. It was reported that USA shooting team is affiliated of USA force. The fall of Russian shooting team somewhat mirrored that Russian military power has lagged behind its American counterpart.
