| Yesterday (September 1) is the first day of a new semester for Chinese pupils. The little national hero Lin Hao who saved two classmates from the collapsed building during the Wenchuan Earthquake, has got enrolled in the Tongyuan Experimental Primary School in Shanghai’s Zhabei District. The 9-year-old Lin Hao has become a household name in China and even in the world after he walked with basketball star Yao Ming in the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics on August 8. He has been in spotlight. Paparazzi and news-hunters tried to follow him. Yesterday, the reporters chased him when he relocated his school desk to Shanghai. Lin Hao tried to avoid the cameramen. He was still a grade-3 pupil. Are Media’s eyes on him good for his growth? Inquisitive reporters interview Linhao at his school. |
