LATENTSAGE Points: Join Date: Sep 3, 2008 Status: offline	hello people, I'm planning to visit china next year in July/august and huangshan mountainsare also one of the places in my list.I want to know that How can i travel while consuming minimum days (standard required days to see the huangshan mountains) in minimum budget.....regarding this i have some questions 1-is it necessary to stay at the mountain during trekking? 2-in how much days you can complete the trekking of the mountain.i.e from bottom to top and then bottom again.? 3.Is there any budget hostel/hotel on the mountain? 4-Approximately how much money in yuans would be enough for this all? I intend to approach huangshan city from shanghai...and after trekking leave for chongqing. thanks

1) You could choose to exit the mountain at the end of every day, stay outside then enter again the next morning. However this really doesn't make sense as you'll have to purchase a new admission ticket every time you enter the mountain -- which costs a whopping 200 RMB.
2) Depends on how thoroughly you want to do your trekking, and your physical abilities. Could range from 1-3 days?
3) No, but there're dorm beds as well as private rooms.
4) Depends on the duration of your trip as well as your spending habits, really.
