China by motorbike

I was thinking of flying into HK in Oct and buying a 2nd hand motobike in China, travelling around Southern China for around a month and either selling bike or bringing it back to Australia. Is this practical, anybody know? Are bikes cheaper there? Can I use Aus or UK licence etc. Any nice places to go. I like roughing it and having a few laughs plus meeting locals esp cute girls hehe

acording to the law, u should have a local motorbike driver licence
