![]() | China's government has embraced market forces and is selling off its state owned enterprises as fast as it sensibly can. The USA has just nationalised Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac the two financial institutions which together finance 50% of US home loans. Government ownership of the means of production is a core plank in traditional socialist philosophy. Maybe there is something in socialist enterprise after all. What do you say Mr.George W Bush? (Oh I forgot it is Al Qaida and Asama Bin Laden's fault) |

![]() | Socialist philosophy is not useless. You see, even US has applied it. I guess that US has no other means except nationalizing Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac. |

![]() | Auto industry is one of the economic pillars in Canada and tear one contracts are frequently subsidized by gov. funding, which is pure central planning with socialist characteristic for the sake of avoid lay-offs. |
