Hello Everyone!
I will soon arrive in Guangzhou for work, and was hoping someone here could point me in the right direction. I will be working in Baiyun District but plan to regularly travel to Tianhe District, so my question is a simple one: is there an affordable and reliable mode of public transportation that runs between Baiyun and Tianhe on weekdays? Something along the lines of a bus route or subway line? Any information, links, or advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Best Regards!

Yes, there should be public buses connecting the two districts u mentioned. When u r there, just ask the friendly locals which buses to take. The public buses are cheap, only RMB2 per trip, but prepare exact amount to drop into the money box when you board. For greater convenience, buy a "Yang Cheng Tong" stored value card at any train stations. These cards can be used on both trains and buses. The cards have a stored value of RMB50 + RMB30 refundable deposit, so u pay RMB80 to get one.
