Instead, they were fed on a name brand milk powder. Similar diseases have been reported in China's northwestern Gansu Province. Since 2006, 59 babies have been reported to suffer from kidney stone. Almost all of them have been fed on milk powder instead breast milk. One baby was reported to die of kidney stone. According to the media, most of the babies have been fed on a name brand milk powder San Lu( 三鹿). The investigation for the diseases was underway.
