![]() | Chinese media has reported that Zhai Zhigang, Liu Boming and Jing Haipeng had been selected as the three astronauts to carry out its third manned space mission later this month. The 42-year-old Zhai Zhigang, who is from northeastern China’s Heilongjiang Province, is expected to conduct the spacewalk. All the three astronauts are from Chinese Air Force. The Shenzhou VII spacecraft will be likely to be sent off around 9 p.m (Beijing Time)on September 25. Scientists believe that the optimums time fro the spacewalk is September 26 or 27. The spacecraft will return to Earth on September 28. The whole process of the spacewalk will be shoot and televised.
