Any long distance bus from Zhuhai/Macau to Choazhou /Shantou?

guest69160	If any one know there is bus travel from Zhuhai (Gongbei) or from Macau to Shantou (still inGuangdong provine) Choushou? if no direct bus ,any other transportation can go? I have taken bus from Hong Kong by CTS before, but take too long time, also buses from Guangzhou too. Regards, Teo( Singaporean)

If your Guangzhou -- Shantou bus was an express bus, then I don't think it's likely that any Zhuhai -- Shantou bus would take less journey time. Zhuhai is further than Guangzhou from Shantou. Longer distance + comparable speed = longer journey time. There're departures at 0810 and 1420.

May I know where to buy the bus ticket? Also where to board the bus? If you have other info on this bus trip (eg do they break for dinner during the journey, the drop off point at Shantou, etc,) pl share with me so that I can prepare for my trip.

GUEST15221	Thank you for the useful information. You are right, it take longer time from Zhuhai to Shantao, it take 7 hours.incluse time move within city and Zhongshan picking up passangers.

ELLYSE Points: Join Date: Oct 30, 2005 Status: Offline	I think Guangzhou -- Zhuhai is around 3 hours by bus? No train possibility as there's no train station at Zhuhai nor Macau. From Macau to Zhuhai, take a taxi to the border then just walk across.
