My late father told me that our grandfather came to Singapore in the early 1900s from China. My father spoke in Hokkien or Minanyu. In hanyu pinyin, it should be "xiao wang gong qian shi er du". It seems to me to be referring to the "12 capital city in front of the old palace". Is there such a place in Nan'an city?
