Christmas in Shanghai....

guest22783 We are going Shanghai for this year christmas...any suggestion on where shall we celebrate during christmas eve there?

Can we buy any prepaid card for our handphone so that we can keep in touch with our travelmate?

Even though it is a foreign festival,christmas is very hot in modern cities in China and there will be a lot of activities hold in Shanghai for christmas so you need not worry about where to go on that eve.
As for how to keep in touch with your travelmate,you can buy card in China instead of in your home city for will be much cheaper here.But there is a better way to get over the connection problem.Just as my friend Suey did last month when she came over to Shanghai from USA.She get a phone from Yoyoor company with zero rental fee and it is much cheaper to make calls though this Easy -phone .You can learn more from here:http://www.yoyoor.com/?p=cn03021

Many expat-popular restaurants will have special Christmas package meals, which're usually quite pricey.
Yes, prepaid SIM cards are available here. Hopefully your handphone is not locked to any service provider in your home country.
