CARLOS Points: Join Date: Sep 10, 2007 Status: offline	Planning to a longer trip to Nanning with my Lao Po, about two months. I don´t have much experiences about cheap hotels there (well, none, whatsoever) What I´d like to know is what kind of places are they. Living 2 months with cockroachs doesn´t feel very nice. I usually am not very accurate where I sleep but even I have some limits. Anyone can give me a lecture? Carlos

APAULT Points: Join Date: Mar 11, 2006 Status: Offline	I think you need to say what you consider what is 'cheap'. I spend from 60 to 100 rmb a night, a double would be a litle more. These rooms are usually small and dingy but basically clean. I see few cockroaches tho I have been visited by rats on two occasions. Tell us how much you want to spend and get suitable replies.

CARLOS Points: Join Date: Sep 10, 2007 Status: Offline	Well, Paul, that is difficult to say, I think perhaps I´d like to keep limit on about 150 rmb. Plan to stay there about two months, may as well be one or three, don´t know this time, so must make budget thinking of 3 months stay. One possibility is that we take my kids too, then visit would be only about one month. In that case renting an apartment would be the best choise, I think. Carlos

DAVEC Points: Join Date: Apr 14, 2007 Status: Offline	I think renting an apartment or hotel apartment would be best idea. On my last trip I stayed in a lovely apartment in Chengdu and managed to get it for 90rmb per day. It was immaculately clean and had all the facilities.
