MENTHOLCIGAR Points: 3 Join Date: Oct 8, 2008 Status: offline	Hi I had to leave China due to ... complications ... with my visa. Now I'm back in Australia (Australian citizen) and want to go back. I want to get an L tourist visa. Strangely, this page (http://au.china-embassy.org/eng/ls/) , doesn't seem to indicate any changes due to the Olympics. Since I'll probably go to Hong Kong first before entering the PRC, would it be wiser to get my visa here or in HK? Last time I was issued a visa here in Australia without needing to submit documents showing my proof of money, and hotel bookings, etc. Is that still the case? All I sent was the application form and money, as the site says, and got the visa.
