which city in China has the most smog? How many stars can you see at night, and
how clear is the moon at night, and how much blue sky and real clouds do you see in the daylight?

I think Shanghai is the most polluted : you can only see the sky when wind is blowing. Otherwise it is always grey... By night you usually cannot see even one lonely star. That's a pity...

Its a good bet for Shanghi. Believe it or not,its pretty much the same everywhere, with as many exceptions, considering where you are and travel to.We went to
Chonghua,on the weekend and it was pretty much the same as your description. Its was grey there the whole week-end,same as in Guangzhou. The clearest place
so far has been Zhuihi(Not correctly spelled but close) an Macau. There you could see clear skies and a clear moon and stars. The airplanes were even visible.
At this time in October it may change, but am unsure.
