The company was to provice home maintenance, repair and improvement for women. The fee for renting a husband is 50 piaster ($15.50) per hour. The company said that some women called to book the “Special Service”. They didn’t provide special service. “Rent a husband” offers help to handle domestic chores for single women except sleeping with them. The business is booming in Argentina. It was founded 12 years ago.

Actually, this type of service is nothing new. And not just for single woman. There are lots of men out there who 1) are too busy or 2) are not that "handy" with home repairs, and so a service like this allows people to get odd jobs done around the house. And, I should like to point out that I mean no offense to woman here; my ex loved to paint, pound nails, and build things around the house. She was a real "handyman" haha.
