In many countries there are different meanings for different flowers given to someone. Also colours mean something. Now I have heard there is a meaning for how many flowers you give. Does something like that exist in China too? If, then what different meanings there are? Carlos

In the Uk there is a very long list of flowers and their meanings...some flowers I've not even heard of...The Carnation has several meanings depending on the colour; Pink - I'll never forget you, Red - Admiration, White - Innocence/ Pure Love, Yellow - Disdain, rejection, you have disappointed me. So guys, beware when you buy flowers. Here is a link to the UK list http://www.meaningofflowers.co.uk/

Heh, I was lucky. I bought three pink roses for my wife. She counted flowers one by one: I-love-You. No point to fill the lottery this week, perhaps all luck is used now. Anyway, I would also like to know if there is some Chinese list too. Carlos
