L visa in Hong Kong?
Oct 23, 2008 03:53
guest63120 Hi I want to get an L visa in Hong Kong.

What do I need? How much will it cost?

I'm an Australian citizen.

By the way, how far is the place you get the visa from the airport? How do I get there cheaply?

You only need a photo and yr passport, and the fee. Cost depends on duration number of re-entries, but in Aus it is from $30. Transport in HK is expensive compared with the mainland. The fastest way is to take the rail express to Central, then the normal metro to Wan Chai. Head north on the raised walkway, cross the amin road parallel to you on the right ...sorry I have forgotton the address but it is another thread in this site. (if you get as far as Harbour rd, you have gone too far.) The entance is from the ground floor only, not the raised pathway.

Wan Chai is the most SE station on this extract...sorry I overreduced it!

Also, as noted in many posts, a same day/overnight visa costs an extra fee, normal time is 4 days inclusive. Options for intermediate processing times too
