The western world, well known for its sexual permissiveness, is in danger of having some time-honored celebrations eliminated. For example: the New York City annual 'March of the Virgins' had to be cancelled this year because one virgin was sick and the other wouldn't march alone!

In Helsinki there is a statue of three blacksmiths. It is said yhat they start hammering when a under 17 yo virgin goes by.
