![]() | According to China’s National Seismic Network., a 6.3-magnitude earthquake jolted northwest China’s Qinghai Province at 9:22 am November 10. The epicenter was located in the Mongolian-Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Haixi, at 37.6 degrees north latitude and 95.9 degrees east longitude, which is about 716 kilometers west of the provincial capital Xining. No casualities have been reported so far and the Qinghai-Tibet Railway was not affected. The tremor was felt in Xining and Geermu. |

![]() | That's still pretty strong. I wonder why China is getting a lot of earthquake these days. Is China part of the Ring of Fire? I think it goes from South East Asia and Japan all the way to California and South America. |
