Like to meet Expat in Sanya

We are considering to move to Sanya and would like to meet som expats living there to learn the pros and cons. And it's always nice to meet new people.

We will be there in Christmas 2008 and we live in Sanya beach

Welcome to China! I don;t live on Hainan but have escaped there to enjoy the weather in the cold winter months further north. I have mentioned this on other thread but I don't think we have any active expat members living on Hainan.

There are lots of them living working and holidaying on the Island and I'm sure that you will like it. I suppose you have 'googled' for information. There is quite a lot ad there are several expat owned or operated restaurants in Sanya where you may meet some of them. There are also a lot of Russians on holidays and the locals expect most foreigners to speak Russian and be shopping for gift items.

It's a great place to be going. If you have any more Q's send me a message and I'll see if I can answer them
